Troy, Trent and I headed to Pere Marquette Beach in Muskegon with the Snyders. We arrived about 11:00 and had pick of the beach! The kids immediately hopped in the water and then came in to play on the sand......
We also played on some playground equipment that is on the beach. We don't know the little boy on the left....he just kinda wandered into our picture.
The water was a nice 68°...which is warm for Lake Michigan. We sure do have a great beach to swim at!.....
We think this is a beautiful state to live in...The Great Lake State! The kids had a great time!.....

That is my favorite beach!! That's where I would take the boys. A little ways down is a beach area just for dogs (and their owners). I loved taking my "other kids" there. Thanks for posting.
Warm weather, blue skies and great beach sounds like a great day. Joanne, I didn't see any shots of you playing in the water.
You know someone has to be behind the camera!
I actually didn't even go swimming...when we got over there it wasn't nearly as hot with their breeze.
The only time I got wet was to clean my leg after the seagull 'dropped' by to visit!!
Imagine being about a mile and a half off shore looking back at the lake shore on a nice day like that, That is why we love our sail boat. Jack was out on the boat on the same day you were at lake michigan. We sail out of Muskegon lake. we will have to take you out some time you will love it!
