Recently, our beloved neighbor, Bob Brott turned 85!
A couple of months ago, Bob was telling me about how his birthday was coming in June.
My thought...a neighborhood birthday party...yes, that's it, a party!
The wheels started turning, as I was cleaning for him.

We gathered on his front lawn on Monday night to celebrate with him! It was so fun to see an 85 year old's excitement!
Some brought plates, some silverware, some drinks, cake, ice cream....
We all pitched in...and he really enjoyed himself!

..Katie, Landon, Jack & TrentWe are very fortunate to have wonderful neighbors. Bob has been a great neighbor to us. He & Lola moved in the year before Tyler was born. Lola passed away 2 years ago this December.
We even planned a block party for this summer while we were there! How fun will that be!
He told me the next day, he had not had a birthday party thrown for him, since he was a kid!

I am SO glad you did that Joanne! Having good neighbors is such a blessing. So many people don't know who lives around them.
