Christmas 2014

We started out the Christmas Season with cutting of our tree.

We made our annual pilgrimage to Kahler Tree Farm.

There wasn't a lot of snow but if my memory serves me right, it was COLD out!

We actually did this whole event in less than 1/2 hr...lol....between everyone's schedules....we jumped at the 30 min window of opportunity!

a special note about November snow's fall....we set the record in 2014 for the snowiest Nov!

The previous record of 28.2 inches was set in 1895.

 I will cherish this for many years.

My only regret, is that I had not ordered it earlier!! :(

Fall'er 2014

the Boys and I headed downtown one Sunday...Steve couldn't come.

We parked at GRCC's lot cause it's cheap..so we have a hike to get to the action

Trent got extra credit if we got a picture with one of the artists....

I think this was exhibit was in the Top 10.

KC Homecoming

In true Kent City form,

 they had their Homecoming Parade at 5pm right up main street.

All the different MS & HS teams ride in trucks/fire engines.  The Homecoming court rides in the parade, the band marches and the HS class floats are pulled.

Steve had to be gone and I have no idea how to tie a tie...seems like I should have picked that skill up by now :(
